First snow with solar onboard

Well it was bound to happen, snow. Now that solar is installed, I had my first with how it was going to be removed. I must say it was interesting and kind of sad that I didn’t have a telescoping pole long enough, so I was at the mercy of the sun and the angle of the panels. It didn’t take long before avalanches occur on my rooftop. It was nice to see mother nature helping out.

Now it’s back to energy production.

Electronic updates

So, I wonder. With the electronic age of now… what percentage of the population stay on top of updating their electronics. Take TVs for example. The new ones (LCD, Plasma, etc.) all need firmware updates from time to time. You would think that the companies would realize that not very many people care to keep up with those updates (crucial or not).
